The 5 Best Anime Endings – Spring 2018

Now that this season’s anime openings are covered, this time we’ll cover the anime endings. Even though I know some people skip the ending when they binge-watch an anime, it’s still part of the experience. Take note there will be a mention for songs that didn’t make the list.

#5 Clover – Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori

This isn’t the first time I heard an ED using only instrumentals. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu did this in their entire two seasons. The ending gives off the relaxing vibe of what the anime is. People should really give this one a chance.

#4 Hibana – Golden Kamuy

I thought this one would be forgettable as time goes on, but no. When a cliffhanger happens, it transitions so well making it not out of place. Props to Geno Studio as one of their major anime projects this year. They should keep on animating this series.

#3 WISH –ย Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These – Kaikou

WISH makes me think that the possibilities are endless. With the political themes this anime has, the soundtrack makes it a new experience. Try hearing this one at night with your headphones on while looking at the stars. There may be something for you out there.

#2 Kakatte Koi yo – Megalo Box

Kakatte Koi yo doesn’t actually sound like a song that came from an anime. It’s feels like it’s straight from a live-action series. Not only that, you could hear this in a future party one day with your friends having fun. Even when listening to it on your own, you cannot resist the way how she raps and sings her verses.

#1 To see the future – Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online

You never really expect that a song from SAO would be my #1. It’s common to see people just hating on the series even if they haven’t watched it. I know the main series has its problems too, but Alternative puts a new spin to franchise as a whole. Honestly, Karen has more emotions than Kirito so far. And this song by her proves it.

Honorable Mention: Love Song – Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai

An innocent song about love, who wouldn’t say no to hearing one? Sung by the main heroine, this could be another show I could watch once this season ends. I’ve had my share for romance high school anime. Having another one is fine with me.
