Spring 2019: Some Shows I’ll Watch

This semester’s finally going to end! But it’ll actually finish two weeks into Spring 2019. School aside, the amount of shows I’ll keep up stayed the same like last time. However, it may lessen due to my interest to the anime itself and I have other things like drawing. I’ll continue on the Episode Reviews but only for one anime per season. It fits within my time. I should stop dragging things, let’s get right to it!

Carole & Tuesday

An original anime by Bones and directed by Shinichiro Watanabe. The last anime I’ve watched by the same director was Kids on the Slope. It was a unique experience for me. I’m looking forward to his upcoming work and I’ll cover this anime on my Episode Reviews! But, it may be on an irregular basis since the show is licensed by Netflix. I’m waiting for good fansubs so I can give my word.

Fruits Basket (2019)

This is one of the most well-known Shoujo titles in the community. I never watched the first anime nor even read the manga. It will all be an all-new experience for me. Also, it is the Shoujo anime with the fundamental elements of the demographic. I want to expand my horizons for once.

Kono Oto Tomare!

When I said expanding my horizons, I mean it. The visual you see may look like another Shoujo anime, but it’s actually a Shounen. I want to go back to those familiar School anime and this fits the bill. I’m not sure what to expect, but looking at what I see there seems something more than the surface.

One Punch Man Season 2

Okay. Having seen one trailer and I can’t help but compare. I know the story will continue like normal and I’ll just keep my expectations low. If that gets in my way the viewing experience will make things worse. I’m only here for Saitama punching the shit out of other people. And Genos too.

Shoumetsu Toshi

Another Mystery anime after Boogiepop. This is based on a popular game in Japan and I still don’t know what this anime is going to deliver. Knowing that Madhouse is in charge, they have experience. As long as I get attached to the characters or the world they’re in, I’m good to go.
