Fall 2019 Seasonal Anime Wrap-up

Last post before this decade ends! So much has happened I nearly forgot what I was supposed to do when the season is over. That’s right. I usually look back and give my thoughts for everyone to watch. Take note that this is all based on my own preferences and if I don’t mention any other show, please take this with a grain of salt. Without further ado, here’s the last stretch. (For this decade.) Also, Happy New Year!

Recommendations!

  • Beastars – I think it’s already obvious now. From a fantastic production to giving complex and relatable characters at the same time. It is no easy feat yet it was delivered so well. Series like this is one of the many reasons why I will always love anime. Every episode grips you in and you won’t even notice the time had already passed. The 2nd season is on its way and I am looking forward to it.
  • Kono Oto Tomare! 2nd Season – This season focused more on the buildup and character relationships on the way with more time spent on music. Emphasizing more on the music there since it’s the biggest highlight. And it all paid-off. Especially with one performance that lasted half of an entire episode. Though even if things are just getting started for the cast, everything ended on a satisfying note. Get it? Okay, moving on.
  • High Score Girl II – This is like the second sequel in a row I’ve recommended so far. And it was able to wrap up many parts of the story nicely. It might be a cheesy ending for some people but I like how it all comes down to the aspect of gaming. You want to settle a score? Do an all-out match. Not only that you will see the actual gameplay in action while the characters play it. This gives a sense of nostalgia to some and I was able to learn many older games throughout the series.
  • Dr. Stone – The latter half shows the best of what this anime can do. By knowing more science facts and some interesting history, it all adds up. I haven’t had this much fun in this anime as a whole especially how every character looks up to Senku. He’s the one guy you can count on to no matter the situation. This too also has another sequel coming and I’m exhilarated for what’s to come.
